Instead, the alert stays on forever, and the game locks up. The only way out is to force a power down of the computer and to turn it back on. Sometimes, this results in the data loss on the FAT32 partition the game is on. Such KDE alerts are as follows: -- a large bubble identifying the program the arrow is pointing at in the taskbar -- a bubble in kopete messenger indicating the message the sender is sending -- a box from kopete indicating one's online status.
