[Bug 28883] New: The Witcher 2: Portions of objects rendered as black.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=28883 Bug #: 28883 Summary: The Witcher 2: Portions of objects rendered as black. Product: Wine Version: 1.3.31 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: mblackwell1024(a)gmail.com Classification: Unclassified The Witcher 2 suffers from strange anomalies where objects or parts of objects are drawn as black rather than textured. This occurs regardless of whether GLSL is enabled or disabled and is not the same as Bug 27194 (which is resolved). The only console message during this time is: fixme:d3d:resource_check_usage Unhandled usage flags 0x8. over and over. I've attached a screenshot showing the issue. Shifting the view slightly changes what will and won't be shown as black. It happens mostly outdoors and generally on foliage, although it sometimes appears on characters as well as the screenshot indicates. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=28883 --- Comment #6 from DL <dredgingthelake(a)gmail.com> 2013-10-25 07:52:50 CDT --- I've been testing with the open source radeon drivers on a 6950 and this bug doesn't occur there. So it's perhaps specific to the nvidia binary drivers. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=28883 --- Comment #7 from DL <dredgingthelake(a)gmail.com> 2013-10-25 09:46:22 CDT --- The bug also occurs when enabling the LLVM backend for the radeon driver with R600_DEBUG=llvm. It doesn't occur with Vadim's SB or the default backend. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
