I was able to get into game without any overrides. But it took long. I don't experience freeze...
wine 1.7.50
I used http://www.gamestar.de/spiele/undercover-operation-wintersonne/34917.html which doesn't require registration. Appears frozen for me, but after winetricks -q winegstreamer=disabled devenum wmp9, it started up. It crashes with a backtrace similar to Andrey's.
