When attempting to launch the Max Payne demo for the first time from its launcher window, the game fails to start with a dialog box that does not occur on Windows, then returns to the launcher screen. An attempt to relaunch the game will simply result in a C++ exception being thrown. Works fine here in current git, nvidia fx 5200, 169.12 drivers. lspci tells me that I have:

and I seem to be using:

I am currently using the Hardy alpha.
Intel cards/drivers don't support many features wine needs.
