Same problem with the 30 day trial, right?
Yes. The 30-day trial and the purchased program are functionally identical. The only thing you're purchasing, when you make the purchase, is a serial number that keeps the trial working and turns off the nag screen. The text tool issue is an RichEdit control insufficiency, it has nothing to do with Wine-Gecko. * capture screenshot * 'Capture SnagIt Preview' -> 'Paint Tools' -> click 'Text tool' and drop the box onto the screenshot work area * editor opens 'edit text'. type text. 'Ok' -> text not displayed Console: --- snip --- ... 0458:fixme:richedit:editor_handle_message EM_DISPLAYBAND: stub 0458:fixme:richedit:editor_handle_message EM_FORMATRANGE: stub ... --- snip --- 'winetricks -q riched20' works around. That's likely bug 6254. In that case you might select a problem which is not a RichEdit control bug to avoid duplication. In general please don't put multiple issues into one bug report. Focus on one problem.
