http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23018 Summary: Starcraft II beta crashes during startup or logging in Product: Wine Version: 1.2-rc2 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: mephisto123(a)gmail.com After latest SC II patch (14) the game started to crash during startup or logging into Battle.net I have tried different versions of wine (1.1.44 + sc2 patch, 1.2-rc2 + sc2 patch, 1.2-rc2 without any patches) but the problem persists. The game can crash in different places (70% of the crashes - during startup, before loging screen appears; 24% when I press Connect, 3% when i press Login and 2% after logging in and finding opponent, before starting countdown). Also there is very little (like 1%) chance to play normally. I have run wine with WINEDEBUG=+all option and got attached log. I want to mention what no messages appear at the crash moment. Complains about d3d format appear right at startup, regardless of crash moment (it can crash way later, after finding opponents for a game, but still show these messages at startup).
