When giving focus to an other program and afterwards switching back this window doesn't reappears. After that the dialog appears, I switch to another program and I switch back to iTunes. And additionally: All dialog windows are affected. Dialog windows also disappear when I click in the iTunes main window. But this dialog is handled by another separate window on Gnome/Ubuntu. Switching to this dialog window, selecting a folder or just closing it stops freezing iTunes. Tested with iTunes 8. In latest iTunes 12.7.3 this is different. Both iTunes and the dialog are in the same window and so there is no problem at all.
