Open Notepad++, and immediately try to save a file as 'foo'. Under windows, you'll get a blank file named foo. Under wine, you get an error dialog 'Please check whether if this file is open in another program'. I'll add an automated test for this soonish. Can't save using just the filename without stating the extension to the file too. Not a huge problem unless you like extensionless files. I just saw there has been some work on this issue in the meantime and commit bd0fe7d26bafebc2e51ec54d354bf1e41bc3892e should fix it.
