This sounds to me like a window manager issue. Make sure Compiz is disabled, as always. Try changing the graphics settings in winecfg, specifically trying the virtual desktop option. But just for the record, I should say it. I can confirm almost without any doubt that it is not a bug related with any wm. In gentoo, in order to gain some fps I launch the game in a different X session using this script: #!/bin/bash export GW_PATH = ~/".wine/drive_c/Archivos de programa/Guild Wars/" X :3 -ac -terminate & cd "${GW_PATH}" sleep 2 DISPLAY=:3 wine Gw.exe No windows manager. If I launch it in KDE it happens too.
