[Bug 5382] Add QT/GTK Integration
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5382 --- Comment #15 from loonyphoenix(a)gmail.com 2009-11-15 00:09:49 --- Just out of curiosity -- why can't it? It's not like Wine can't access the user interface -- it uses the tray, for one. And, I assume, as all settings on Linux usually do, the color scheme in use should be written in some plain text file -- can't Wine access the file system? Of course it can. So I'm at a loss. Anyway, I'd think on Linux it would be easier to code a GTK+/Qt app than to re-implement Windows API, as Wine does, so I don't see the complexity of writing a simple helper application which would pass on the colors to Wine. Please don't think I'm criticizing the people doing the amazing work developing Wine -- as I have said, I understand the complexity of the task the program aims to accomplish. I'm just very surprised such a simple thing as probing the colors is regarded as a complicated task. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
