In the wine 1.1.38 i have the same problem by getting online . Servers are found but by joining them it results in waiting and no online connection. By hosting an game Deer Hunter 2005 break down. wget http://kegel.com/wine/winetricks sh winetricks directplay won't help, same results. All I've tested were in ubuntu 8.04( game performance ok) I've tryed to test it in ubuntu 9.10 64bit but game reacts only every 5 seconds ,untestable. Did you have an idea to get more detailed log's from wine?
