It became unplayable due to very low frame rates as of 1.1.38. The slowdowns appear on all tested nvidia based macbooks (9400m), macbook pro (8800M/GT, 9600M/GT) and imac (9400, 8800GT). Observed on OSX 10.5.8 -> 10.6.3. Reverting this patch will triple the fps (from ~20 fps -> ~60fps) without causing any observable graphical problems. I'd also like to note that ATI based IMacs(4850) and macbooks(1600) don't exhibit the same slowdown from this patch. This solves the performance issue for Fallen Earth.
