if this tool is more UNIX like, try porting it to UNIX instead of using 
winemaker. 
 
(Yes I understand it is more an experience in porting, but a diret port 
might be easier here.) 
 
And in the fcase of ipv4 as far as I read the description, a simple  
unix shellscript would also be helpful.
