StarCraft: Brood War (Retail) hangs on startup and shows only a black screen. Previously it worked fine. Sometimes the game manages to play the Blizzard intro screen sound immediately when started, so apparently there's no inherent lag in the startup but only somewhere later. With Xnest, the game displays correctly and actually works better than I remembered. (Unfortunately, running two instances simultaneously makes them both lag.) With Xephyr, it's the black screen. It's not. I'm mostly using Fluxbox (thus, no effects), and this happens also without any compositor at all. (And how exactly would this be a compositor bug when there's a clear regression in Wine?) (In reply to Ken Sharp from comment #11)
