[Bug 17294] New: Kodak EasyShare won't install

Near the end of the installation, I got an error box saying: "Kodak EasyShare was unable to finish your task. (Error code 12x54x1x)" I'm attaching the log output (from a "script" command). In a minute, I'll come back and update this bug by adding the "EasyShareInstall.log" file as a separate attachment. My system is running Ubuntu 8.04, kernel 2.6.24-23-generic. My Wine is configured to emulate Windows XP. So, I assume it's pretty useless now for this purpose (I found a thing, which could be another bug). The behavior is pretty much the same under wine, the only difference is error code which installer gives in the dialog box: Vista: Kodak EasyShare was unable to finish your task. In a capture by Wireshark, I see that the installer is trying to download a file from http://download.kodak.com/digital/software/easyShare/v8_2_0/sysfiles/ kb945060/kb945060.exe but then gets bounced to https://www.kodak.com/go/easyshareswsupport with the HTTP 301 status code. So, unfortunately, as I said before, it's unusable now.
