http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20382 Summary: Tom Clancy's Rainbox Six - ingame scenery/surfaces not rendered - all black Product: Wine Version: 1.1.31 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: directx-d3d AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: myheadblewoff(a)hotmail.com The game starts fine, select mission (any) in the menus - launch .... In the game environment itself, the sky is rendered correctly, however all other surrounding surfaces (walls, floor/ground...everything really) is totally black. You can't play a FPS title if you can't see your targets (or anything else ;). When the game is running like this, the following line is echoed to console continuously; fixme:d3d7:IDirect3DDeviceImpl_7_SetClipStatus (0x1712a8)->(0x33fa2c):Stub! Log attached represents - starting the game (intro movies skipped) ; selecting mission ; starting the game itself (this is where you'll see the above line repeated over and over) ; quitting the game. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

What video card? What drivers? Have you disabled 3d desktop effects?
Card = Nvidia 8400GS Driver = NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-185.18.36 (but this has been so with previous driver releases as well) No 3D (or any other) desktop effects running - plain old boring but light XFCE wm To be full, X is running in 'twinview' mode (2nd display is CRT for mythtv), not that it should matter here, just FYI sort of thing -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
