Please try again in a clean prefix and install the application properly, it looks like you are using a copied/old installation. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Can you point into freely availble test version that matches your version so I/we could test this bug?
I don't think there is a free version, Photoshop 7 had a try out version but may not reproduce the same issue from this bug. The best thing to do is to test outside a RAM drive just to reduce the number of variables that can be causing the problem. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40625 --- Comment #5 from Art <site(a)rotasul.net> --- hi, I'm currently using the Xenial Kernel 4.4.8 and Wine 1.9.2. When I commented that I performed some tests, understand a lot of tests, yes I like reduce the variables to understand the essence... my conclusion (lay, but not so much lay) is that after changing the kernel family 3 for 4 my old Photo6 stopped working ... https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40625 --- Comment #6 from Bruno Jesus <00cpxxx(a)gmail.com> --- AFAIR Photoshop 4 was the last 16-bit one, but maybe if some component in Photoshop 6 is still 16-bit the trouble may be due to the 16-bit changes made in the kernel from 3.14 onwards. http://news.softpedia.com/news/Linux-Kernel-3-14-Breaks-Wine-for-16-bit-Wind... But there is a kernel flag introduced in 3.16 to make it work again.
But the crash location is at 32bit? Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x00000002 in 32-bit code (0x00aaf637). Anyway It's true what you said about the kernel. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

What about Wine 1.8? Why does the title mention an upgrade to 1.8? Please try again in Wine 5.6 or later. I imagine the result is the same given that the issue is with the kernel. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
