Only text and some other UI elements are drawn. In the console is suspicously often the following error fixme:d3d:state_colorwrite WINED3D_RS_COLORWRITEENABLE/1/2/3, 0xf/0xff/0xff/0xff not yet implemented. fixme:d3d:state_colorwrite Missing of cap D3DPMISCCAPS_INDEPENDENTWRITEMASKS wasn't honored? I have played through the entire game in WINE with bug #29397 the only hiccup. If you're getting a complaint about caps, are you sure your video card and/or driver is sufficient to play the game? Perhaps you clue us in to the hardware and driver you are using. If you're getting a complaint about caps, are you sure your video card and/or driver is sufficient to play the game? Perhaps you clue us in to the hardware and driver you are using. Hardware is a good call. I compared my card against the required card from the developers website and mine is about a year older… I guess that is what caused the error. Is there a way to list a cards DirectX capabilities within wine (some diagnosis-tool maybe?).
Can you play in Windows? I do not have windows, so I cannot cross-check.

It rather seems to an issue with the radeon driver. On my other machine I had the same error but sufficient hardware.
