Open installer, select 'Professional Edition', do not associate with media player, untick create quicklaunch icon, untick virus scan. Installer gets half way then gives message: Access violation at address 3CB16DAF in module 'quartz.dll'. Read of address 00000000 Refreshes desktop and appears to have created an icon for quicktime in the systray. Installer then hangs. Ending 'Dashboard.exe' process allows it to progress to the finish screen. Then clicked a few things on the Quicktime icon which I think accounts for the last bit of the log. I still see the problem in wine-1.3.20 when selecting the "Professional Edition" for installation.
Right. After retesting with the specific instructions from description, I get a (for a second) flickering black screen then an error popup: "Access violation at address F7564C5. Read of address 00000000." The installer is then frozen (no crash backtrace) Do you get similar behaviour? Bug still occurs with wine-5.0-rc4.
Hmm, for me in current wine it installs ok, without error message /crash. Did you use a precompiled wine from distro? I use self compiled one. Could that be the difference??
