Honestly I havent been able to test this to see if it is still an issue, as my 
linux machine's motherboard has died and I have not been able to obtain a 
replacement.  I do now have a replacement board, but I need a processor 
(socket 939 vs old machine being socket 454, and current windows machine being 
socket 462).  If someone else could test this it would be appreciated.
