Wine complains of a bad EXE format. Terminal output attached. Confirming that the current version of Borderlands on Steam with WINE 1.3.17 launches and plays with few issues, none of which ruin playability.
Do you run this on Ubuntu? I think im using an old version of Wine (1.2.2, ubuntu build) maybe i need to recompile to the newest version. Gonna try that tonight. Will post results regarding any problems. Nope - I'm on Arch using a fully up to date WINE. I would advise (for this game's purposes) checking out the patch in http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6971 to prevent the mouse from leaving the window.
