Because I don't want to make an install for each users. Users have rights for Program Files folder and subs. 2) Does this syntax gives me separate logs, or must I get them in the console ? Or, perhaps is there a way to have always separate logs for a program ? 3) These crashes appears without obvious link with specific URL. Generally, it occurs after browsing sometimes. It' not always with the same URL. It seems that, since the version 1.1.23, it occurs less than before, but not really sure. The principal, is that before (I think I used 1.1.17 or 1.1.19), it occured without prompting a wine box message, and just disappeared from memory. Now, for each crash, I have a wine box message. 4) Have you installed the prog under wine ? I suppose you ask if I have installed K-Meleon using a setup or unzipping a file ? My answer is using K-Meleon setup. I now use a command line since K-Meleon folder: WINEDEBUG=fixme-all wine k-meleon.exe There is less messages (there were a lot of fixme), and it seems that it crashes after a longer time of use (about 20 minutes for this time) Joined a report of the crash. No, it isn't new of course. Some entries' names differs for GUI and command line usage - the last are shorter. cc580 is to be used from command line.

You're mixing different things here. When you try to run anything for a first time under Wine you should use clean .wine and no overrides - default setting only. Now I'm trying to guess will your problem related to our builtin comctl32 or not, that's why I'm asking for this test.
As we know than to run under wine, we must use k-meleon_w9x.exe a win 95/98 version of K-Meleon, would it be necessary and possible to set windows as 98 just for K-Meleon, and how ?

I send now K-meleon since a console with this command line: WINEDEBUG=fixme-all,err-toolbar wine /home/alain/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/K-Meleon/k-meleon.exe &> /home/alain/Bureau/Crash\ K-Meleon.txt I post some various crash logs, the logs with number in the name are a selection of crashlogs, the one with index (a) is a trace of some errors, but without crash. It perhaps have a link with crashes, so I send it.
