[Bug 33692] New: Chantelise (Steam version) crashes when starting new game

Chantelise Demo from http://www.carpefulgur.com/chantelise/downloads.htm starts new game good (without sound but it's another bug) p.s. How can i get good terminal output of Steam game for this bug? I think my prefix with Steam is not clear enough, and in addition i get near the same terminal outputs from Steam and Demo versions. The demo version (v1.1) is not affected. The game is showing several weird error messages when I start a new game, then it crashes. The EasyGameStation/Carpe Fulgur game Recettear used to give very similar error messages on startup in Wine before an update silenced the messages. My understanding is Recettear was built on the Chantelise engine. This is rampant speculation, but Recettear suffers from a display bug in Wine due to lack of VertexBlend support, which has led to crashes in some situations. Could this be an effect of the same bug?
