https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46548 --- Comment #2 from Berillions <berillions(a)gmail.com> --- Hum ok, so these errors are not the cause for this issue. To understand, i add a screenshot with the window popup which initialize continually, if i close it, the game stop. In the Output Console, i have no crash, no backtrace, only on line : "00f3:err:seh:setup_exception stack overflow 1776 bytes in thread 00f3 eip 000000007bc81ee9 esp 0000000000140f20 stack 0x140000-0x141000-0x240000" and nothing after this line -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. I tried to downgrade to kernel 4.18. That offered no change. I get the same crash that Berillions gave in comment 2. I'll try to retrace my steps. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46548 --- Comment #4 from Anthony Jagers <noonetinone(a)gmail.com> --- I've tried to get the game working. I bought the game on the 26th of November. Which means that I ran the game around Thanksgiving. That was around the release of wine 3.21 & dxvk 0.93. Using those releases, didn't work. Switching to the wined3d backend didn't work either. I disabled the overlay to no avail. I am using three distinct wine prefixes which haven't been significantly altered since Thanksgiving. So, there is very little more I can do. The only thing I can suggest is denuvo is crashing the game on purpose. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46548 --- Comment #5 from Zebediah Figura <z.figura12(a)gmail.com> --- Presumably an update occurred to the game between then and now. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46548 --- Comment #6 from Anthony Jagers <noonetinone(a)gmail.com> --- Figura, You were right! I checked the timestamp on the executable and discovered that the game SELF-updated on 11/29/2018 10:03am EST, Thanksgiving Day! I ran the game and it ran fine. I shut it down and denuvo obfuscated the executable. The steamdb doesn't show any updates on the day. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
