When running Touhou 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, or 11 in Wine, selecting WAV music in the options menu (default) will cause MIDI music to play. Selecting the MIDI option will cause no music to play whatsoever.
I can't speak for Touhou 6 through 8, but though 9 has the option to select MIDI listed it's unable to be toggled. Furthermore Touhou 10 through 12 have no MIDI soundtrack. Can you please clarify which games this occurs with and disassociate those games the bug is not relevant to? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

For 9, 10, and 11 no music plays at all, regardless of settings. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

My bad.
For 6, 7, and 8. The bug description is accurate.
For 9, 10, and 11 no music plays at all, regardless of settings.
Any ideas whether this happened for you previous to Wine 1.1.18? This was fine for me with Touhou 12 and previous versions of Wine. Sadly my machine is playing up so I can't test to see if a bug has been introduced by 1.1.18. I can only speak for Touhou 12 here though. I'm hoping someone else can confirm/deny this bug's existence as my initial impression is that this is an individual case. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Probably an individual case. I tested Touhou 6 through 11 with wine version wine-1.1.18-119-g276c7a3 from git, and all wav audio worked as well as always. There are however some issues if one chooses midi as playback, this has been reported as bug 16026. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

I've tried various computers for the game and none of them can play the .wav files, just midi. The folder that holds the game has the music listed as ex: th06_03.wav I can play the songs from windows media player but it doesn't work in-game. For Touhou: Imperishable Night the music files read as ex: th08_03.rpy but this time I cannot click on the files to play from windows media player. But, it works for the game though. I've been looking around and I don't see any solutions to this bug. I've downloaded kouma_update102h.EXE but it doesn't have any noticeable effect on the game. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
