Variable uses an automation type not supported in Visual Basic In the terminal I get this message: fixme:ole:OLEPictureImpl_FindConnectionPoint no connection point for {33ad4f92-6699-11cf-b70c-00aa0060d393} CCD Calculator is a free program very useful to astronomers. Run-time error '458' = 'Variable uses an Automation type not supported in Visual Basic' is a generic VB5/6 automation error code which can have different causes hence you can't simply say "same problem".
