Mine shows an icon in the system tray when "closed", and it looks fine. What Linux are you using? Yeah.. it seems that it was an Ubuntu bug. Yes, when you move the mouse over the system tray icons you can see how they are redrawn (they flicker). Another thing to say is that when the icon is not there i click over it and nothing happens!
