I had changed my user agent to access an IE only site. It turns out, when I do that on windows, the same thing happens, so this isn't a wine bug... 1. Install firefox 2.0.0.14 2. goto about:config 3. Add general.useragent.override as a string, set it to "MSIE 6.0" no quotes 4. Goto http://java.com/en/download/installed.jsp?detect=jre&try=1 5.
