This happens with arts > 1.1.90, see

So basically, all KDE 3.2 (or more exact > 3.1.90) based systems will run into
that problem, which will be more and more in the near future.

dirty hack that can work around that issue for now...

BTW, this should go into the component where winearts does live... I have no
right to do that, though
