http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19761 --- Comment #1 from Cùran <debian(a)carbon-project.org> 2009-08-17 08:23:20 --- Created an attachment (id=23141) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=23141) Wrong background only behind text blocks. Transparency issue? I forgot to mention, that the wrong background colour is only shown behind the text block of the event. In this screenshot you can see, that the not-yet-filled space below has the correct colour. Is this some kind of transparency problem? If you need a log, please tell me what options for WINEDEBUG you need, +all generates in a very short time about 800MB. Here is what I found out so far: 1. The green color appears in other locations too (anywhere where black rectangles should be drawn), e.g. the outline of tooltips, and therefore is likely a problem with palettes rather than transparency. The game has only 8-bit colors. 2. The green color appears only in fullscreen mode ("virtual desktop" fullscreen and "real" fullscreen). If you choose "Windowed" inside the game, it will always run with the correct, black color. 3. It may be some kind of race condition (the game uses multiple threads), because the colors are always correct if the game is started like this: WINEDEBUG=+relay wine RCT.exe > /dev/null 2>&1 This strange behaviour however makes it much harder to find out where the green color comes from. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19761 --- Comment #21 from Cùran <debian(a)carbon-project.org> 2011-08-19 16:31:22 CDT --- Still there with 1.3.26, though it's currently a much more eye friendly dark red, almost bordeaux. This is a different system than the one I've seen this initially on, now it's with an AMD M92 (Mobility Radeon HD 4500/5100 Series), ChipID = 0x9553, Mesa 7.12-devel (master/3e9dc51f82276e57ecfb4e2725d88d83dbedcd85 [0]), DDX (git: master/3b9fdc807dd7e52af0576299cefba596040f6f2f [1]) and Kernel 3.0.3 That seems to rule out a bug in r300g, unless, of course, the very same bug is present in r600g.
