I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 and x86_64 (with WINEARCH=win32). I'd also note that the blank popups are modal. And for me, they are so copious as to render TaxACT unusable. With "winetricks ie6" this bug does not occur. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=33003 --- Comment #4 from Dave Cottingham <dcottingham00(a)comcast.net> --- First, I still see this with TaxACT 2013 and wine 1.6.1. Again, this occurs with "winetricks ie7" but not with "winetricks ie6". Second, I have found a workaround. After "winetricks ie7" run winecfg again, click the Libraries tab, and remove the override for urlmon. Then the blank modal popups no longer appear. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=33003 --- Comment #5 from Don Pobanz <dpobanz(a)gmail.com> --- The suggested work-around from comment 4 did not work for me. The program freezes (see bug 34357) and so therefore does not have the empty pop-up boxes, but a frozen program doesn't do any good. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=33003 --- Comment #6 from Don Pobanz <dpobanz(a)gmail.com> --- Still present - wine-1.7.32-107-g3006cea Also, per comment 4 the work around DOES work. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
