[Bug 5300] severe font problems with Derive 6.10

To reproduce this bug I just have to insert a small tau and then to capitals
taus. The application will immediately crash after hitting the return key.

I get the following on the console:
X Error of failed request:  BadLength (poly request too large or internal Xlib
length error)
  Major opcode of failed request:  153 (RENDER)
  Minor opcode of failed request:  20 (RenderAddGlyphs)
  Serial number of failed request:  101331
  Current serial number in output stream:  102230

My System is SUSE Linux 10.1 and everything has been tested with Wine 0.9.14.
