http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22922 --- Comment #1 from Rico <kgbricola(a)web.de> 2010-06-06 03:09:27 --- Do the errors have an impact of the frame drawing? Do you get any visual glitches? The app is rated platinum with an earlier wine version, could this be a regression or where the errors always there? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

But the console is permanently flooded by: err:d3d:state_pscale >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GL_INVALID_VALUE (0x501) from glPointSize(...); @ state.c / 1511 Henri, do i remember correctly that err: ain't fixmes and should be reported? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22922 --- Comment #3 from Henri Verbeet <hverbeet(a)gmail.com> 2010-06-15 11:10:08 --- (In reply to comment #2)
Henri, do i remember correctly that err: ain't fixmes and should be reported? Sort of. In principle these are errors and should never happen. On the other hand, if the game otherwise works fine it's going to be sufficiently low priority that nobody is going to bother fixing it. This specific error is probably already covered by bug 23048 though.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22922 Jörg Höhle <hoehle(a)users.sourceforge.net> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |hoehle(a)users.sourceforge.ne | |t --- Comment #4 from Jörg Höhle <hoehle(a)users.sourceforge.net> 2010-06-27 05:39:01 --- The d3d:err:state_pscale flood also happens on MacOS 10.5.8 with XQuartz 2.3.3.2 and NVidia 9400GM. Using wine-1.2-rc5 Intermittent surface colour corruptions only occur at the lowest graphical settings in BW2. The app does not feel slow yet WINEDEBUG=+fps reports ~12 FPS (upto 30 FPS at 800x600 with lowest settings). I'm puzzled that nobody in AppDB mentioned what must be the mouse warp issue (bug #6971). There's a serious and frustrating lag or lack of responsiveness from the mouse pointer. Fast movement is unpredictable. One cannot draw a circle on screen with the mouse. That's not platinum. Is there a correlation between mouse lag and FPS? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
