There's another Polish application (Nowe Gadu-Gadu), that doesn't draw any text at all (except for Polish characters). It might need a specific font installed on the system. If you set font DPI to minimum 167, the text appears correctly: http://www.alarm-clock.pl/kde.png The same thing happens with Nowe Gadu-Gadu (a Polish IM application) - minimum of 167 text DPI and the text appears correctly. Yes, I think the bug you mentioned is a duplicate of this bug. The text problem affects all QT applications on Windows.
