Broken Sword - Sleeping Dragon (ger)
wine 1.1.15 (patched with Martin's fix)
Ubuntu 8.10
Geforce 8600 GT

After installing the game it crashed with the same sound3d error as above
mentioned.
Anyway, after applying the Martin's patch it worked fine for me!
