[Bug 25983] New: Double Sound (Alsa and Pulse)
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=25983 Summary: Double Sound (Alsa and Pulse) Product: Wine Version: unspecified Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: lancerdot(a)gmail.com When I run Warcraft III, I get double sound. By double sound, I mean that I hear the same thing with a tiny delay in between (1/3 of a second-ish). I noticed that running `pkill pulseaudio` before I start Warcraft III stops the double sound and the game sound is fine, but I then cannot receive sounds from the rest of my system's applications (using Ubuntu 10.10) until I close Warcraft III and restart pulse. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

'Sounds' like another pulseadio breakage. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=25983 --- Comment #2 from Lance <lancerdot(a)gmail.com> 2011-02-04 08:01:17 CST --- 1.2rc-7. There was a mistake in my first post; if I start pulse a few seconds after Warcraft III starts, both the game and my system sounds work correctly. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Using ArchLinux with Gnome-shell and thus, pulseaudio. The sound seems to be playing just fine. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
