[Bug 21481] New: Runtime error in RPG Maker VX
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21481 Summary: Runtime error in RPG Maker VX Product: Wine Version: 1.1.37 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: jguy(a)myst-online.com Just tried to install RPG Maker VX to my Ubuntu 9.10 machine. It installs fine, but when I try to load or create a new project, I get the error in my console below: X Error of failed request: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation) Major opcode of failed request: 53 (X_CreatePixmap) Serial number of failed request: 10949 Current serial number in output stream: 10960 The program then does a hard crash. You can see the map and tiles load before the crash for a split second before the program just exits out. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21481 --- Comment #2 from John M. <jguy(a)myst-online.com> 2010-01-25 09:16:06 --- Gah, I apologize, usually I'm good about that. This machine is running Ubuntu 9.10 x64. 6GB of RAM and making use of a GeForce GTX 275 video card with 1792 MB of VRAM. It is making use of the Propritary drive for Ubuntu version 175, I believe. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21481 --- Comment #3 from Austin English <austinenglish(a)gmail.com> 2011-10-02 11:45:36 CDT --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for 1 year. Is this still an issue in current (1.3.29 or newer) wine? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Seems that .Net framework being installed might fix this one, therefore we need to look at wine's implementation of .net 2.0 -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

It works fine in wine-1.7.7-199-g608b1e1. It doesn't look like it was a wine-mono bug though, winetricks dotnet20 didn't make a difference in wine-1.3.14. Anyway, fixed. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
