But the question is how will it effect performance on the rendering pipeline of an accelerated card. Wine is close to windows performance when it comes to games. Is there a way to determine between a MDI type interface and a regular window so that they are not always rendering to pixmaps and then transposing them on to the screen? We want to fix the problem not create a performance issue.
