[Bug 9633] New: Window Decoration Missing

When I run *any* application the window decoration is missing. Eg the top bar which you can grab to move a window, or close with [x], minimize, etc. For these windows ALT+click move doesn't work either. Some of the applications regain this window decoration after a while and then behave normally. Until then these windows are always-on-top and have no icon in the taskbar. I am running compiz right now, but I don't think this is the issue, as in wine 0.9.41 things worked just right. See the attached screenshot for what I mean. If so, than this is their known problem, not Wine's. Disable any composite window manager and try again. While compiz is enabled, I can run perfectly every version of Wine up to 0.9.43. But versions 0.9.44 and even the recent 0.9.45 run without decorations, and as such cannot be moved at all (even with ALT+click). I am sticking to 0.9.43 because of that. You mentioned that this is a compiz problem, with a trivial glitch. Allow me to ask: What has changed from 0.9.43 to 0.9.44 to trigger this? Can you point me to a solution? I will keep this bug open to collect any duplicates. However this one is WONTFIX. And confirming. Again to make it clear, Wine works perfectly with any other window manager. Also this is a known compiz problem yet to be properly fixed. I see a huge difference between the bugs on your links and the bug we have here. Also, can someone tell us why this bug appeared with a news version of Wine, and not a new version of Beryl/Compiz? I wonder why Daniel van Vugt didn't have any answer... I also noted that, when I launch a Wine app with Beryl enabled, if the decoration doesn't appear, and I change the window manager to Kwin, the Wine window has the status "always on top" enabled.
