Strangely, as of this version I'm able to message others in the Windows client now. I can also check if this works in Skype 7.10, 7.12, and 7.13 if needed (I think these are the versions I have access to). Is it even possible to test those specific versions of skype that didnt work at the time of report?
If not I would close this bug as abandon.
