i don't think my patch from comment #19 is correct. I don't know currently how
to fix this bug,(so if you would give it a shot, that'd be nice ;)). Just for
your info, there was another attempt to fix this bug (and i checked that it
fixed the bug too) here:

However, that patch was not accepted, i don't remember exactly why.
