It's not clear whether the original bug report refers to fonts created using 
CreateFont or to stock fonts returned from GetStockObject.  It is certainly 
the case that the SYSTEM_FIXED_FONT, ANSI_FIXED_FONT and OEM_FIXED_FONT stock 
fonts are incorrectly proportional-spaced in Wine 0.9.12, as my testcase 
demonstrates.  This problem causes my application 'BBC BASIC for Windows' to
