After approx 5 minutes (sometimes its shorter) it eventually starts. This behavior is different when i am not online, it starts immediately then. I am able to start the game through the editor immediately, even when i am online. I think it might have to do with overloaded servers due to cataclysm? It hangs at INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT 3000, so that would make exactly 5 mins for a timeout... It hangs right now, but earlier this evening it worked without issues. This bug was present for me when using wine-1.3.8-204-g24d2f69, but it disappeared after upgrading to wine-1.3.10-82-g10b1a7e.
Sorry, I was talking crap; it just appeared to have vanished, as it worked perfectly fine the first 10 (or more) startups, but now the issue reappeared. I've played for 3 days now without much of an issue; this morning, i tried to start it 4 or 5 times nothing. Letting it sit there though; after 5 mins it comes alive!
