Note that this looks similar to Bug 17733 but the nature of that bug is different. I cannot find a demo to download. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. err:dmloader:IDirectMusicLoaderImpl_SetObject : could not attach stream to file I encountered a similar bug in the RPG Maker VX runtime, see if using winetricks to install dmusic fixes it.

https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35380 --- Comment #3 from Austin English <austinenglish(a)gmail.com> --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for over a year. Is this still an issue in current (1.7.37 or newer) wine? If so, please attach the terminal output in 1.7.37 (see http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log). -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Replaced the dmloader.dll used by Winetricks with one from Windows 8.1 and it seems to reproduce Bug 30911. Added the dmime.dll from Winetricks and the same err:ole:COMPOBJ_DllList error occurs for dmime.dll. Replaced that with the Windows 8.1 version but there is a call to unimplemented function ntdll.dll.CsrAllocateCaptureBuffer. I don't have any older versions I can test at the moment. This bug may be caused by the workarounds, which may not be workarounds at all - does that make this invalid? It certainly makes things more confusing, not knowing for certain which order the bugs should(n't) appear. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
