Comment in dlls/wined3d/swapchain.c says that the codepath leading to this FIXME should only be hit with the COPY swapeffect, why it is executed with other swapeffects?
The comment is obsolete, when AlwaysOffscreen is enabled (which is the default setting right now) that codepath is always executed regardless of the swapeffect in use. The FIXME is still valid though, since right now we only use one backbuffer thus not preserving the semantic of FLIP. See the attached log. What's especially odd is that I've been running DVDFab under wine as long as I can remember through countless versions of wine and DVDFab and never had an issue. In addition to getting those messages, the DVDFab screen area that's intended to show the task queue and progess bar etc is always either black or scrambled. As for the other issues I mentioned here running DVDFab, in my case I've discovered they are all specifically when using the nVidia opengl.
