[Bug 17923] New: No music in X-COM: UFO Defense
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17923 Summary: No music in X-COM: UFO Defense Product: Wine Version: 1.1.18 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P3 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: afffect(a)gmail.com No music playing in X-COM: UFO Defense Collectors Edition. Sound is ok. Older Wine versions are affected too. The only output is those 3 lines: fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x33f644,0x00000000), stub! fixme:x11drv:X11DRV_desktop_SetCurrentMode Cannot change screen BPP from 32 to 8 fixme:dsalsa:IDsDriverBufferImpl_SetVolumePan (0x13af28,0x13ae28): stub Probably has something to do with the SetVolumePan stub, I've tried to dig in the code to implement it, but failed. I guess it shouldn't be too difficult to implement for someone familiar with wine sound stuff. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17923 --- Comment #3 from affect <afffect(a)gmail.com> 2010-01-27 06:48:25 --- Still in 1.1.37. Music is stored in midi files. Tried tunning timidity to see if it helps - no luck. Although I can play the midi music files using Winamp in Wine, so midi playback is working fine. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17923 --- Comment #5 from affect <afffect(a)gmail.com> 2011-10-07 05:29:00 CDT --- Actually I'm unable to even install X-COM anymore in latest Wine, just getting an unhandled exception. Will file a separate bug for that. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
