[Bug 11870] New: Steam Crashes when trying to install any game with GLX Error

Platform: Other OS/Version: FreeBSD Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: kris(a)pcbsd.org Using FBSD 6.3 Patched, and the latest Wine 0.9.56 Whenever you try to install a game via Steam in Wine, it immediately crashes with this error: X Error of failed request: GLXBadDrawable Major opcode of failed request: 143 (GLX) Minor opcode of failed request: 5 (X_GLXMakeCurrent) Serial number of failed request: 217574 Current serial number in output stream: 217574 I'm pretty sure this isn't a driver problem, since it does it on a variety of systems, nvidia and intel based, which of course are on completely different drivers. Here is some more information: FreeBSD v6.3 (DesktopBSD v1.6) Wine v0.9.57 from the ports collection Nvidia driver version 96.43.05 Nvidia card type Geforce 4 MX400 1.5G RAM, plenty 'o disk Intel P4 ID = 0xf29 step = 9 I am seeing exactly the same failure when trying to install any game under steam.
