http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27237 Summary: After running some programs under Wine, loss of left mouse button functionality Product: Wine Version: 1.3.20 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: ktowns(a)live.com.au Well that's basically it. I have to restart my computer to get my mouse working correctly. I haven't experienced this with any other application. There aren't any relevant Terminal messages. I can likely reproduce the issue. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Do you mean that while using Wine programs, the left mouse button only within Wine stops working? If not, then it sounds like an issue external to Wine since Wine doesn't interface directly with your mouse hardware nor is it responsible for it. Test with a different mouse, yours might be faulty. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27237 --- Comment #3 from Kyle Towns <ktowns(a)live.com.au> 2011-05-21 19:31:30 CDT --- I'm certain it isn't the mouse at least, because it works fine except under the circumstances of closing Wine programs. My theory was that maybe Wine wasn't closing down properly or the mouse was still somehow captured by the program. To be exact, it only happens after closing Wine programs, or if they receive a fatal error, and fail to open. Moreso the latter, I think. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Is this still an issue in current (1.7.6 or newer) wine? If so, please attach the terminal output in 1.7.6 (see http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log). -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
