Right, I'm on it. (It really didn't occur to me that row bits of a 1 bit / 4 
bit bitmap didn't have to be byte-aligned ;-)

Now let me go and find out about clip regions.

Since Iulian has been silent for most of this year, can someone please reassign 
this bug to me? It would be an honour.
