POL in general isnt supported here. 

Can you still upgrade your wine-stagign version more recent and retry?

Hello,

Same backtrace was reported in bug 38970:
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38970#c13

I can't reproduce the issue with wine-staging 5.3.

Please retest with recent wine/Origin client and file new bugs for new issues.

Marking invalid for reason: POL.
